If your dog does not fall under a certain breed, it will be modeled completely according to your wishes, as far as the coat structure of the dog allows.

 

The big boys are also very welcome here (eg the Newfoundland, Bernersennen,...); older dogs can be easily trimmed with me. The table and tub can be lowered to make it as comfortable as possible for the older dog. If necessary, the dogs can rest in between.

Feel free to bring your puppy to the groomer. This is possible as soon as they have been fully vaccinated. (12 weeks)

 

We can already give him a puppy trim, a first brushing, clipping and washing nails.

 

This is important for the socialization of your puppy. Your puppy will be familiarized with the grooming treatments at an early stage so that he will allow it more easily later on.

 

The wishes of the customer are of paramount importance here. I pay full attention to the care of your dog and make sure he feels comfortable.

How do I work:

 

If you call or come by for an appointment, we will discuss a day and time together. We therefore ask you to arrive on time, if this is not possible, please give us a heads up.

 

When you come over with the dog, I'll check out the coat structure. Together we will discuss which care best suits your dog. Unfortunately, I see many dogs that have received the wrong coat care, eg wire-haired dogs are shaved much too quickly instead of plucked.

 

A treatment consists of cutting, shaving, plucking or trimming, washing and drying, nails are clipped and the ear is cleaned, possibly anal glands only on request

 

The dog is first wetted with clean lukewarm water.

The dog's muzzle is washed with a shampoo that does not sting the eyes. Then the rest of the body is washed 2x with an adapted mild, moisturizing, but well-cleaning shampoo based on your type of dog.

The shampoo is rinsed well with lukewarm water, and then rubbed in again with a well- nourishing, moisturizing conditioner, this restores the protective fat layer and volume of the coat. Rinse well again.

It is dried with a moisture-absorbing towel, so that it dries faster. When it is towel-dried, it is further dried with the hairdryer. Meanwhile, he is being brushed.

When the dog is dry, the coat is brushed out well. Then it is cut or shaved in the desired model

You pick up your dog at the agreed time or you can stay with your dog if desired.

 

People sometimes wait too long to take their dog to the salon, causing the coat to become all tangled. This is not healthy for the dog, so we advise you to make an appointment in time. It is usually recommended that you visit your dog every 6 to 8 weeks. It is also important for a puppy to learn this early, from 3 months.
